On May 20 evening, the English online course Project Management offered by Honors College came to the end. After nearly 8 weeks of online learning, 50 students, under the careful guidance of the joint teaching team composed of four professors from Avans University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, reported, discussed and exchanged the research results of their respective projects in groups successfully. The effective "teaching" and "learning" in forms of group work, including theory study, project practice and team cooperation, not only enable students to fully grasp the standard process and various methods of project management, but also fully encourage students to practice their learnings in their own group projects, hence, deepen students' understanding and application of the methodology of project management.

All students were divided into ten groups in the Qixiang room and Qizhi room of Honors College building. The defense lasted for nearly three hours. The students successfully completed the reporting of their projects focusing onthe topics of used clothes recycling, intelligent robot deep learning, artificial intelligence application etc.,. The content of the reports not only covered the technical advantages, application and market prospects of new technologies, but also embodied the spirit of teamwork and communication skills, even including PowerPoint writing and design skills.

Professor Lennert Nuhn, Erik Kuiper, Menno Mandemaker and Marice Bastiansen, as judges, watched, commented and highly recognized the students' project reports through the Microsoft Teams. The professors carefully investigated and evaluated the relevant knowledge applied by the students in completing their own projects. The defense was vivid and interesting. The  students well demonstrated their capability of project management. During the report evening , students had positive interactions with the professors, and their wonderful performance was highly affirmed by the professors.

Students generally agreethat they have formed a more comprehensive understanding of the concept, methods and application of project management. Team work also helps students to further improve collaborations with others.
