On December 25, 2020, the meeting on upgrading the English website of the Honors College was held in conference room of Honors College. The meeting was hosted by Ms. Wei Xiaodong, the secretary of international affairs, and more than 20 students attended actively.

During the meeting, Ms.Wei introduced the significanceof improving the English website of the college as well as the planned new structure and framework of the website. She also pointed out that one section of the website will be designed by students and the contents of the section will be provided by students from the start of next semester in 2021 when the new version of the website is launched. Students are encouraged to share their views and experiences of campus life in English on the website.

As a conclusion, Ms.Wei put forward the requirements and expectation for setting up a student team for the work mentioned above. She encouraged students to seize the opportunity to improve their English ability and learn how to promote the college to international partners of the college.

Further improving the English website and getting students involved will also provide students with an opportunity to practice their English skills as well as improve their social responsibility and awareness. It will make an important impact on education of global-capable students in Honors College.
